A wonderful cozy restaurant! Visiting from Houston and made this our tip of an unforgettable week in Boston. Walking distance from Boston Public Gardens we had a delicious pumpkin bisque and turkey meal. We strongly recommend it!

Our party of 9 all had great meals - -from salmon eggs Benedict to a steak salad (lots of steak, cooked perfectly) to creative libations. They set us up in the back table -- truly a treat for our family gathering. Highly recommend!

We ate amid spooky decorations, off the Halloween-themed menu, with such delicacies as Dracula's Tomb Halibut (we did hot try the Zombie's Eyeball Salad!). The lamb kabob could have been... More

We did not have a reservation, and we were squeezed in because we were early. I would not recommend dropping in after 7 pm. Place was jumping when we left. Small quaint restaurant in Beacon Hill, minutes from Boston Common. Staff was friendly. The menu was simple, excellent suggestions. Some pub food, but also some nice entrees. Would eat there... Set just just 5 minutes away from the common in a picturesque small street, a small but friendly restaurant. We ate here on a Sunday night,it was very busy, I would therefore suggest you book a few days in advance as they were turning people away at the door. The menu is small, but most would find something delicious to eat,... More

This is a wonderful local restaurant in the Beacon Hill. We were visiting Boston for a few days and went for dinner here. The food was delicious and there was a lovely selection of wine. It is reasonably priced too. The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere – low lighting, candles, busy but not too... More

We dined here recently and liked the area. The restaurant felt like a neighborhood eatery. The food was very good and the service was good.

Staying in Beacon Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.
