Was shopping around the area and felt like having a seafood lunch. Did not make a reservation but almost had the whole place to myself at around 2.30pm. Had the fried clams and 2-pound lobster. Food and service were great.

My wife and I ate here September 25th, 2016. We spent four days in Boston and ate at several of the top-rated restaurants. This was hands down the best, and it wasn't close. I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo, while my wife got the Scallop and Shrimp Risotto. Both were outstanding dishes. Very flavorful with spices that were complex without... More

Been coming to Boston for 15 years and always have at least one dinner here. Have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad experience. Wait staff is great, bartenders are always fun, and the food is always outstanding! This time we ate dinner twice over our three day visit. As usual, Excellent! Reservations are a good idea because everyone... More

We had dinner here on Thanksgiving 2016. Glad we made a reservation earlier in the day, as the place was packed upon our arrival, and the walk-in wait was over 30 minutes. Our waiter was professional, friendly, well-informed, and helpful for selecting a good wine. We had fresh local oysters and half-grilled & half-fried calamari for appetizers, and both were... More

Well located and lively spot. Makes you feel like a local. Well prepared typical bistro fare. Fast service and good wine selection. If you are in the neighborhood is worth a try.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
