I am allergic to shellfish so I was al little apprehensive about coming here but I saw online that they did have some meat dishes. I ended up with a pork chop that came with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and homemade corn bread. It was excellent....More

We happened upon this walking the Freedom Trail. So glad we did. Had the best oysters. Sat at the bar. The staff was the best. I will go back if I ever return. A must!

A great place to stop and have lunch while walking the Freedom Trail. Very well trained staff with many good suggestions. Had Baked Oysters which were a first and really good. Try the special Sam Adam's beers. I had one that was brewed with molasses....More

This iconic location is a must see but be warned the service needs help. The staff are not very friendly and seems if you ask a question you are inconvienencing them. The gift shop is ok but very expensive.

What a great, historical, memorable spot! The wait for a table could get long, so grab a seat at the bar closest to the gift shop and ask for Bernie. They have a great team there with friendly service and yummy oysters & little neck...More

We stopped here for a light lunch on a recent cruise to New England. I knew it was right on the Freedom Trail which made it easy to find. We arrived about 2 and had a 15 minute wait. It was crowded even at that...More

Oldest restaurant in America still delivers great seafood. The complimentary corn brea is excellent. We enjoyed chilled shrimp and the trio cakes and was excellent. The seating on the second floor screams history. I suggest making reservations but we were able to snag a table...More

This restaurant didn’t live up to the hype. The meals were overpriced and underwhelming and I was left feeling like this place was a major tourist trap. One person in our party almost sat on butter left on the chair from the prior party, apparently...More

Family visiting from out of state so we picked a nice historic restaurant. Setting, decor, history, service all great; food not so much. Stick with raw oysters - the Rockefeller were heavy with spinach. Calamari was tasteless. Chowder tasty and hot. My dinner of sautéed...More

Great lunch today in Boston! For how packed this touristy restaurant is, they still manage to do a great job. Justice, our server, was friendly, fast and professional! Clam Chowder, Baked Scrod, Fried Ipswich Clams, Indian Pudding and Boston Cream pie were all delicious! Cornbread...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

It's a very old building with close quarters, but I did see one room that appeared to be more spacious. I recommend calling the restaurant directly.

The cornbread is great! The cornbread can be eaten warm or plain. That's what makes it great!
