We chose the original Legal Seafood restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary but it was disappointing. The starters were OK but the main courses were disappointing. My husband had the tuna which was too large and tough - badly cooked. My shrimp and garlic was...More

We were here with close friends on a cool Friday evening. We ate outside. The server was quick & responsive, the food was delicious but the proximity to the harbor was the best. Great ambiance.

Great service and atmosphere . Nice variety on menu! The restaurant went out of their way to make a mike stone birthday week special. Our waitress was not only efficient but also went out of her way to be personable!

We tried the baked oysters and Thai calamari. Both were very very good. The service was excellent. On this nice fall day we had a delightful experience sitting outside on Long Wharf.

Legal Sea food in Cambridge is definitely a must! Delicious seafood soups and shrimp cocktail. The service personnel is very kind and the service takes short time. Recommended!

If you have the money to burn and can afford eating here then you’ll have a good time. I had the scallops and they were great.

I had been to legal see food MANY years ago but pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the friendliness of staff. WE sat in the bar to eat as packed, and enjoyed the experience. I always wondered what a lobster roll was...More

Back in the early 80's, the selection was so much better. No atmosphere, but you didn't go there for atmosphere, just great food.

We chose to eat on the patio where we could see people come and go on the waterfront. My crabe legs were good sized and tasty. My friend had a fish dish. The food wasn't exceptional but good. I would go there again.

It's a chain and it offers huge portions, nice bar for watching sport, really nice oysster bar and lovely finish on the restaurant side. Food is hit and miss. I would recommend the bang bang cauliflower, the tuna sushimi, and lobster ravioli. A lot of...More

statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting

if memory serves they have a small patio out front but you would need to see the hostess first to make sure they have someone working the outside tables. weather permitting of course.

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods - really fresh fish. Enjoy ocean-side dining just steps from the New England Aquarium. Our restaurant couldn't be more convenient to the Financial District, Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall and waterfront hotels. We think a visit to Boston must include a meal at Legal Sea Foods. Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there's no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker. We've received a boatload of accolades including "Most Popular Boston Restaurant" (Zagat, 2011/2012), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Improper Bostonian, 2010), "Best Chowder" (Boston Magazine, 2010), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
