Good food! Try the lobster and oysters - excellent. We also had the pancake, which was also good. The fish, lobsters, shrimps are all in the tank - fresh to the kitchen.

Excellent food, excellent service, average ambiance. The lemon chicken was superb. The pu pu platter was enough for 2 easily. The garlic shrimp was average.

Food was very nice and as I eat lot of Chinese food I could tell it was well made. Restaurant is not very fancy, but it's nice as long as you don't mind sitting next to strangers. We came without reservation, so we were seated in table together with another customer who was dining alone. We were not bothered about... More

This is the real deal, as can be seen from the people frequenting the place (mainly Chinatown locals). We ate here during our recent trip to Boston and had a very good, reasonably-priced meal with competent service. No one rose from the table hungry. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that scare you away. I... More

Basic very good food without frills here. Don't expect elegance, glitz, or anything else. No dessert. Place is quite inexpensive. Mostly Chinese people here, ALWAYS a good sign. Perhaps my favorite Chinese restaurants in Boston. It doesn't take reservations for just two people. Take public transportation if at all possible as parking is extremely difficult.

Taste of Hong Kong! You should try it! If you love Cantonese seafood, you must try this restaurant from Chinatown.

Great cheap lobster ($28 for 2). Rest of the food average, though big serves. In terms of service and decor, typical Chinatown. Ie don't expect too much.

It was a disappointment. The seafood nest and the duck had a mushy uneatable wrapping instead of the fried potatoes. The tofu rolls not crispy enough. It seams that they have a different chef. The black beans clam were spectacular; the portions were huge but we still ordered the second one.

My favorite place for chinese-style lobster. ginger&scalion is the best! Their goose feet w/ mushroom also worth try.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
A small area rich in Chinese cultural influences, visit Boston’s Chinatown for some great Asian cuisine and small, authentic bakeries. Enter through the iconic Chinatown gate and stroll down Beach, Tyler, and Kneeland streets to explore the compact area. Rest your feet from walking and grab a bite at one of the many restaurants around Chinatown. From traditional Chinese to Vietnamese to Malaysian, there is a wide range of Asian food available, within easy access of South Station. At night, Chinatown becomes a late night food destination after the bars close.
