Stopped in for a late lunch at Faneuil Hall and tried the Maine lobster mac 'n cheese. It was hot, comforting and delicious. Lots of lobster, nice crunchy bread crumb topping. Next time I'll try the lobster roll.

My son and I looked for a warm light and casual meals on a rainy evening while we were walking in the neighborhood. Among many F&B operators available in Quincy market, we chose this one due to its long queueing line! We decided to have Lobster pie and Lobster chowda! They both were tasty, we liked it so much! Great Soups but terrible service. Only one person working and took a long time to actually order the food.

Love swinging by this place when I come back to Boston. Always great Chowder. Plenty of choice, and always warming. The site is inside Quincy Market.

Very good! There are more clams than potatoes, you can actually smell the sea!😀😉 When I told the server that I am taking the clam chowder to go to NYC, his smile became a grin and said, "I am a Yankee fan!", and wrapped it so well, it lasted all the way to NYC! A most enjoyable experience!

If you are ever in Quincy Market must definitely try the lobster rolls. I personally love the hot lobster roll that comes in hot buttered brioche roll and you need to wash it down with the famous clam chowda. It is not cheap but well worth a try at least once

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the clam chowda here contains no other meat beside clams (I'm peskitarian). I had it in a bread bowl and thought it was a very tasty and warm dish for a cold December day. Would very much recommend.

I had very high expectations of this place, and the clam chowder is good, but it's not the best in Boston. Service is good and fast. In Fanueil Hall is a very good option

After strolling to Fanueil Hall from City Plaza the chowder was just the thing to stave off the chill. It's creamy and chock full of clams. Yummy!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
