Small tacos for what you pay but very flavorful! Loved their jalapeno margarita with just enough kick! Smaller portions but perfect amount!

We arrived in Boston late and tired. Tico was within walking distance of our hotel. The menu was slightly limited but the food was excellent and the staff were outstanding! They assisted my wife in navigating the menu with her dietary allergies and made some...More

Kind of stumbled on this place, just looking to have an early bite to eat on a Friday night. Wow! Everything we ordered was excellent...Beef tacos, crispy chicken tacos, shrimp a la plancha, shishito peppers! Service was excellent, very upbeat vibe.

Our party of seven or so sat here one evening last month and were treated to a food party. The truffle guac was amazing but that's because most of us never had this combo before. Everyone was very happy with their food. The prices were...More

Unique take on tapas served by friendly staff. Be sure to try the traditional salsa and guac, as well as the veggie and fish dishes. Nice selection of wines, a bit on the pricy side. Very attentive to, and accommodating for, gluten free diet.

Although I'd eaten in a few 3 hat Michelin on the trip, I actually enjoyed the night here more. It has a wonderful fun atmosphere, good for bar scene or dining; similarly, good for groups or solo diners. The menu options are superb, a wonderful...More

Tico, Michael Schlow's award-winning venture, located at 222 Berkely St (corner of St James) is casual, fun, inviting, energized and energizing. The restaurant has a personal, somewhat eclectic, "found" feel, with lots of reclaimed wood and unusual pieces. Perfect for friends that want to share cool cocktails, plates of tasty, sometimes spicy food, while listening to great music, in a fast, uncomplicated restaurant that provides knowledgeable, quick, playful service. The restaurant has an open kitchen with 6 stools right on the counter to watch all the action. It also boasts a large bar, dining room for 100, a chef's table, and a lush outdoor courtyard that features a fireplace, dining for 50, as well as some "soft" seating near the fire if guests wish to be outside for a drink or snack.
