I was in Boston for business in December, and this was my go to spot every morning for coffee and breakfast to go. it was quick, and the staff were polite and speedy, always a smile on their face.

The coffee was good and the food we had was too. The service was nice. My coffee was a little cold but they quickly fixed that. Nice environment

Have eaten here on two separate occasions previously at lunch time on my visits to Boston, while attending matinee performances of the Boston Ballet. Food was nothing special, despite the queues, and the coffee was only just OK. The last time I was there I was with a friend, and we ordered a couple of pastries to go to accompany... More

A very pleasant surprise. Was looking for a place that serves vegetarian or vegan soup. Ordered a bowl of VERY spicy hummus lemon soup which turned out to be terrific. 3 packages of oyster crackers helped to "cut" the spice. Contains a variety of vegetables.

The food was fine but the atmosphere lacking. Go to the Thinking Cup a few blocks away instead; great place! It just wasn't worth the visit but it was fine. Would not go back.

One of the rare coffee places in the area to be opened at 6am. Good coffee, also tasted their bagels, yogurt and cake and it was all very good.

Food was really good. I had a breakfast sandwich, biscotti and hot choclate. All was delish. My only complaint is service for the hot choclate was very slow. I had my meal gone and really needing a drink before it was ready. My friend who was served on a deprecate cash register but put her order in after me had... More

The coffee was very good. The bagels were ok. The place was no more that 2 minutes from my hotel which proved invaluable.

We were done with the escape room around the corner, walking back to the Double Tree and stopped in for a coffee. Excellent brew. Great service. Rather give money to a local entrepreneur then Starbucks or DD.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
