Mike, our waiter was great, informed us of what might be in short supply. Paid off as date ordered last scallop serving. Will repeat.

Terrific selection thanks to trip advisor. The service and the food was exquisite. I had the tagliatelle bolognese; perhaps the best ever. My girl friend enjoyed the king salmon. The desert, a chocolate creation with figs was a work of art. Truly a pleasant dining...More

The Deuxave was recommended to me as one of the best dining experiences in Boston. I went there alone on a business trip, on a Saturday night. The ambiance is indeed extremely nice - it was a lovely night in June and I was sitting...More

Lovely evening! Excellent service for our dinner at the bar. We enjoyed sitting at the bar because it is beautiful and overlooks Comm Ave. Food was amazing.

The duck confit and asparagus salad were beautifully prepared. The duck and lamb entrees were both intensely flavorful with sides that complemented the meats perfectly. The service was slow and then rushed and then incredibly slow. We had the menus for quite a while before...More

We travel frequently to Boston and have consistently been very disappointed with the quality of the food c/w LA, Seattle, SF, Phili or NYC. Finally found a delightful experience -- not without flaws -- but definitely a keeper. Appetizers were wonderful -- excellent duck confit....More

Co-Owners Brian Piccini, Executive Chef Christopher Coombs & General Manager/Sommelier Jason Irving are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant's American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave's (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.
