Went out with the family for a nice birthday dinner. They asked where I wanted to go. I love French food, so... They gave us the table in the window with a fabulous view of the South end street level. We drank great wine and...More

The food was reasonable, a little pricey but what really grabbed my attention was how congested the seating configuration was. Not particularly tall but the table was jammed into me and I was pretty stiff leaving the place. Overall I would not return.

I loved this place. Went for lunch on a Friday. The onion soup is not what I expected yet still fantastic. The duck confit tartines was spectacular. Can't wait to go back! Many good looking items I saw being served!

I was looking forward to a really enjoyable dining experience, but Frenchies needs a Wow factor. The food was good, not anything special, and the service, while friendly was a disappointment. It took over an hour for the food to arrive after we ordered. We...More

Yet another restaurant that I was introduced thanks to Seated. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, especially for the wine list. Not overly french, but it does have a french flare to it. We bought over seven dishes for the table and everything was...More

One of the better French bistros in the South End-Back Bay Area. The wine by the glass selection is broad with many choices to pair with the meal or enjoy as a meal starter. The food was generally traditional and tasty. The mussels were cooked...More
