If you make reservations, request to be seated downstairs. Luckily, we were, because if not, I'm not sure we could have stayed. The upstairs is so cramped and crowded you can hardly move, and people walking by tables run the risk of bumping other diners. First the good news - my wife and brother-in-law say the calamari was the best... More

Visiting family, wanted a great dinner for six people, not disappointed. The service was amazing, great food and excellent wine selection. Our party tried a number of the dishes and everyone was pleased. Homemade pasta and meatball a must try. Desserts also homemade. Everything you need for an amazing evening, fine food, wine and dessert you will find at Nico.... More

Service was excellent and the food was amazing! My favorite dish is still the pasta and meat ball but this time also tried the veal marsala which was delicious. Every salad I've had has been fresh and tasty.

We had a small family gathering of nine persons for dinner at this restaurant and were more than pleased. Although a small venue, it was ample for us. The food we had preordered was served at the hour we requested by a wait staff that couldn't do enough for us. Each of us ordered our own main course which was... More

We were excited to try out Nico because of the reviews. We were seated on the top floor which was nice (downstairs was horribly loud and cramped). All of the food was good with the exception of the meatball that I got. It was texturally soft and not the most pleasant consistency. Everyone at the table agreed that it was... More

Okay, the overall experience was wonderful but I will start with the chocolate mousse only because it was amazing! Three of us ordered it to split and as soon as we took the first bite we were literally moaning. Homemade whipped cream layer. Lovely taste and texture to the mousse. It had a "crust" that added a little crunch that... More

Delightful dinner. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was authentic Italian, very flavorable.

Right on Hanover Street, convenient to everything. Great menu, with fresh fish and house made pasta.

Had a nice meal tonight. Everything was good. The calamari, scallops, Caesar and pasta with shrimp were all great. The linguini with clams was good but the pasta was not homemade as I thought, so that was the only disappointment. We will try Nico again for sure.

Four of us went for dinner on a Thursday night. We were treated so well by everyone but especially our waiter Haikim (spelling?). He was Italian so I know I misspelled his name. The food was amazing and the atmosphere just so inviting. You must go if and when you visit Boston.
