We had never tried this restaurant before but after the very good reviews we thought we would give it a chance. We were not disappointed. We had the trio dip appetizer and it almost filled us up and it was very good. We didn't finish our entrees but we took the rest home for another meal. Service was very good.... More

Was here recently to host a business event for about 30 people. We used the room in the back, which got a bit crowded for the group so we spilled out int the main area with no impact to the regular patrons. The service was just excellent and the food far above average. Highly recommended.

My colleagues and I grabbed salads here for lunch and we all were very pleased with our dishes. The pear salad with goat cheese is amazing! Highly recommend.

Two of us grabbed dinner here on a Friday night. We had tried to get into a few other places but they had really long waits. Kingston Station, which is in the financial district not far from Downtown Crossing, had plenty of tables available and we were seated quite quickly. The food was tasty and the service prompt and friendly.... More

I have to say we were attracted to this place, largely because of the name! We live in SW London and use Kingston Station, so finding it in Boston was fun, especially with the station style décor. Luckily, the food was good and although the restaurant wasn't very busy, there was a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. The salmon and tuna salad... More

I was on vacation in Boston for a week and came here 3 times. The truffle oil fries are amazingly good. The decadent cocktails are worth the price. Great service from the staff, too.

It was my turn to treat for Men's Movie Night and I chose Kingston Station for dinner before the movie showing of "The Wolf of Wall Street." After dinner, all four guys praised me on the choice: great variety of appetizers and entrees and good wine list. The restaurant has a bistro feel with banquettes and white tile walls and... More

I've been here once and that was enough for me. No one in our group has recommended going back for lunch. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about and the service was sub-par at best, mostly due to being so slow with the food and the check.

Kingston Station is conveniently located in Downtown Crossing, near Boston’s financial center, theater district and Chinatown. The menu provides a variety of American bistro favorites like Seared Tuna Nicoise Salad, Steak Frites, and Seared Scallops with Lemon Risotto. Kingston Station provides a casual downtown environment reminiscent of a classic railway station. Walls are a mix of vintage white subway tiles and tea stained paint. Tables and chairs are mismatched to create a comfortable atmosphere. The front café area has marble mosaic tiles, flooded with natural light. The restaurant is perfect for a fun and casual night out on the town.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
