Had dinner here w my family. We were looking for a place to take the family. There was a line waiting for salsa to open... so I figured this must be good! We were seated almost immediately after open. Our waitress was fantastic. Very attentive. We ordered the steak and shrimp empanadas.. wow! The flavor was amazing! Would def be... More

We normally come to Asheville for a weekend getaway. Naturally, we're selective about where we eat when having just 2-3 meals during our stay. There're so many great places in Asheville, but we always eat at Salsa. Over the years, we've tried many dishes (sadly the large soups bowls are no longer on thee menu). The flavors are amazing. Do taste... More

I've eaten alot of Mexican food in my life, but this was so different and delicious I can't wait to go back. The chef turned a "plain quesadilla" into a masterpiece. Lots of veggies, meat and FLAVOR! I only gave it 4 stars because the restaurant is very small and seating is tighter than I'm really comfortable with and the... More

We had the steak enchilada & the blackened salmon Papua! Delicious accompanied by fantastic guacamole. Priced right. Friendly & attentive staff. Great lunch!

I'm not prone to making sweeping declarations like "this is the best Mexican food I've ever had," so I don't say this lightly: the Norteno taco, along with the rice and beans that came with it, was the best Mexican food I've ever had.The flavors were so well-developed and complex, everything was obviously fresh, and the whole meal was just... Perhaps it was just us but I will say that the servers here could not have been more rude. We came with a large group and we understood that the place was not for any larger parties than 4. We said we would happily split up the group. They rudely ignored us and sat people for twenty minutes that had... More

My husband and I have eaten here for the past 4 years (every time we come to Asheville!) and we always have an incredible experience! EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS MOUTHWATERING AND FILLED WITH FLAVOR! This restaurant is quaint, unique, and fabulous. Chef Hector knows what he's doing! Thanks for another great experience guys!

Had lunch here on a rainy day. Food was great and service was very fast. Not really a formal place but great for a casual, quick lunch.

Obviously I missed something here. The place was packed and tons of people waiting. I was seated by the door so overtime the door opened, which was every minute or so, a blast of cold air came in and froze me. My feet never warmed up and I had to use my coat as a blanket for my legs (even... More

I will never be able to eat nachos anywhere else. Who knew you could make nachos a gourmet dining experience. everything sounded so good but ordered nachos because I was not very hungry. I watched other's food come out and it all looked wonderful. I will be back! Maybe for dinner tonight!
