Asheville has an endless number of delicious haunts and Zambra has soared to the zenith. Tapas style and perfect ambiance lay the foundation for this culinary adventure. The baby arugula salad is full of surprises in every bite...loved it! Crispy brussel sprouts with chorizo, and...More

Went here with a group to celebrate my wife's birthday. Had a marvelous time. Our waitress was fantastic. Dealing with 10 people at a tapas restaurant is complicated but she did a marvelous job. Zambra has a very nice and varied menu of tapas plates...More

I loved everything we had here! It's served tapas style so you can really explore the menu. The menu changes daily, but there are several items served year-round like the amazing pork spring rolls! We also had (and I would highly recommend) the beef cheeks...More

Spanish tapas. We had a variety which were all excellent. Spring rolls were some of the best we have eaten anywhere. Very friendly and efficient staff.

We stopped here on a food tour around downtown Asheville. Great food, popular sangria (just not our personal taste), and romantic atmosphere. We are not fans of the incense smell in the restaurant, but it is said to be the most romantic spot in all...More

My husband and I went to Zambra for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. When you arrive the atmosphere is sort of Spanish eclectic and not, on the surface what you think of for "date night", but don't judge, it is a great date...More

Excellent food, excellent service. Wait staff knows the menu and is very helpful. Great wine selection. Best tapas in Asheville, and there is stiff competition here. You can’t go wrong here. A must try.

If you look on their permanent menu (on the website), some of the dishes show two prices. The second price is for the item as an entree. We were told the entrees were quite large and are sometimes split.

Description
Our dynamic menu is the passion of Executive Chef Adam. Adam has attained many influences through his training in Europe and New Orleans. Zambra is his modern vision of the tastes and flavors of the western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Gypsy, and North Africa. As an appropriate accompaniment, we have assembled the region's finest selection of Spanish and New World wines. We have been awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and our wine list has been voted the best in Asheville.
