My wife and I like to visit different eating establishments when we travel.... after some suggestions from friends we decided to try it! All I can say is wow ! The food was excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere was quaint and downhome feeling. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience !

Great food every time we go. They have a chorizo chili nacho that is very good. Its been a few years since we had a full on dining experience here. But every time we are in Asheville we try to stop in.

My friends had heard about this place and Susan asked to go to dinner at Tupelo Honey Cafe for her birthday. We both had the shrimp and grits and really liked them.I can't remember what the guys got, but it was an awesome place to eat.

Never had a bad meal here. The biscuits and jam they bring to your table gets the taste buds going. Great atmosphere. Both locations are busy on the weekends and in the Summer (South Asheville location is, overall, less crowded) so plan accordingly.

Both locations of this restaurant are excellent (there is another a bit outside of the city with no waiting and a parking lot). This is what earing in Asheville NC is all about!

I was really excited to try this place, got the fried chicken, it was really chewy not really good. Service was good though, but was a little disappointed.

This is now a "must-do" stop for us in Asheville. We went because friends said it was great. They were wrong. It's AWESOME. Amazing food. Tasty drinks. And superb service. I hugged the waiter when we left. The manager came and hung around with us for a little bit. it was so good that we brought our kids back the... More

Varied menu, and we enjoyed the friend chicken and loved the side dish of brussel sprouts with bacon. Visited on a Saturday evening in December and it was crowded and very noisy. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Go put your name in, they will text you when your table is ready and in the meantime walk around the cute town and check out the fun little shops! I had the most popular dish, sweet potato pancakes and fried chicken! You must get it! My husband ordered the biscuit bowl..again another must! Their biscuit and gravy is like... More

Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
