Had not been here in many years. We were 3 people and each of us had the fish & chip because this restaurant was famous for this dish. If was good. The fries are hand cut. I found the done just a bit too greasy. This didn't stop me from finishing my plate. Bon appetite.

This is an institution...no other fried fish tastes like or as good as this, period. They had a bit of a downslide in quality the 80s, but pulled out of it just fine. A little pricey, but worth it. Do yourself a favor and get a fish cake on the side. Its a hunk of fish with slices of potato... More

Not a bad attempt at traditional English fish and chips, but i had a couple of issues here. I was there just before lunchtime and followed 4 people in that were all together. They all ordered fish and chips and were told to wait. I stepped up and ordered and was also told to wait. Mine was ready almost immediately,... More

I love their fish and chips. They also serve chicken and chips. Beer battered, golden and crispy. Definitely worth a try.

Great fish & chips, fried clams, clam cakes, and chowder. Casual atmosphere, plenty of seating room & parking.

Olde English has always been a local favorite for Friday fish and chips. It is not inexpensive, but the food is great for takeout.

After hearing people praise Ye Olde and being a huge fish and chip lover, I visited and I must say I was very disappointed...... a little on the expensive side for the portion that you get and also on the greasy side......not to mention, coleslaw is not included but can be purchased for an additional cost. For the price, traditional... More

Every time I'm in Woonsocket, I must have. The white chowder, shrimp, chicken, and fish were all great. The food is deep fried and greasy but delicous. Prices are super reasonable with large portions.
