The last time we ate here was worse than the time before. Granted it took time between and took a while for this to get written. The place was worn, dirty and had an odor. The food was varied in freshness. But most of what...we had tasted off or overly salty. The boiled shrimp were questionable and after tasting one we didn't eat them. I would hope that they have improved but will not return there until I read or hear that the have remodled, changed cooks, cleaned or something to encourage me to want to pay for another meal, there.More
The title says it all, lifting a peal and eat shrimp and finding that before you remove the shell you must remove a roach or 2 will make anyone lose their appetite. The only way it could get any worse is to learn that something...this disgusting didn't even alarm the owner/ manager. We did end up getting $10 off the bill but as we stood there nobody came out and took away the tray of shrimp so it couldn't happen to someone else.More
This place is disgusting and filthy. There were roaches in the food, roaches all in the restrooms and roach traps everywhere. And they still made us pay for our uneaten food. I will never go here again and will tell everyone I know that this...place is filthy. The waitress never came around to give us refills and when we would ask them question they said they didn't understand cause they didn't speak English.More
I took my family here because we all wanted Chinese food from a buffet. Since Beaumont has lost a majority of its Chinese eateries our choices were limited.
This place is about what you would expect from an Asian buffet. However I was satisfied with...our lunch. I was able to feed three adults and two children for on $41.00. Not bad at all.
We will be returning.More
In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Beaumont, TX. What a layout of nicely presented and very tasty food on the buffet. The atmosphere is welcoming, the tables and furniture are above average and the price is right. Get there as quickly...as you can!More
King Palace used to be my favorite place for Chinese buffet. The last two times I visited there, the food just wasn't the same. It seems the quality has gone down a lot. The food is over cooked, or has sat for a long time...in the steamers. I will probably give it one more try, but if the quality hasn't come back up, it will be my last time!More
