Our party of eight enjoyed a great evening of dinning and our waiter, Wendell gave us great service. The unlisted on the menu, Rustler Steak, was superb.

It took 1.5 hours to get our meal. The food was cold and prime rib not edible. The views were great and the local wines very good but overall too expensive given the quality of food. The manager and waiter were nice but the money spent was not worth it.

The view was fabulous but the food was just ok. Our salmon specials for $30 came with plain white rice and unflavored steamed vegetables. Another friend ordered a chicken dish that was ok but not wow. For the prices charged, we expected the food to be better. You are paying for the view I guess.

Norwegian friends recommended this unique spot above Moab with a great view of the sunset if it's a clear night. We didn't have a perfect sunset but we did have a wonderful meal, served by Kyla. LinguiniOlivia (named after my granddaughter??) was outstanding with nice-sized shrimp and crabmeat in a creamy sauce. Delicious salad (I recommend the house dressing) came... More

Awesome view tucked high in the side of a mountain. This is an old house with a lot of history of Moab. Now the food is pricey but good. Our waiter was awesome...I wish I could remember his name to tell you. Overall a good experience.

I felt like it was a tourist trap being close to Arches- we were greeted warmly and sat by the window- prices were higher than I expected- should have read trip advisor first- the Idaho trout was tasty - my husband had the shrimp scampi- he said the shrimp were rubbery- salads were average- the theme is interesting as it... Fred & Susan Haywood absolutely LOVED our latest visit to the Sunset Grill! We felt so special after Wendell (our waiter) served us as if we were royalty! His special attention was so personable, and he was very attentive, helpful with our order and "on top of his game"! His service was impeccable and not to mention the steaks he... More

You pay for the view. The food is memorable only for the surprisingly poor quality. The salad consisted of 4 lettuce leaves, 4 croutons, a slice of tomato, a slice of cucumber, and one ring of purple onion. The dressing was flavorless and watery. I ordered a steak medium rare. I was served a blackened brick which I was unable... More

This is not just an excellent restaurant for someplace in the middle of nowhere; this is an excellent restaurant comparable to the best anywhere. Food was first rate and staff was very professional. --- Ask for Alyssa's private recipe margarita. Possibly the best margarita ever.

The Sunset Grill is in the former home of Uranium King Charlie Steen. In the early 1950s Moab was a small farming community. Arches and Canyonlands were places only a lucky few experienced. In 1952 Charles A. Steen, geologist and prospector, put Moab on the world map. The Sunset Grill specializes in hand-cut steaks, prime rib, seafood, and other traditional dishes.
