Chose this restaurant our first night in Moab. Moab was packed, we were very hungry, and it was walking distance from our hotel. Luckily, we got a table without a wait. Our server (male) didn't have a great tableside demeanor, but we overlooked it. When...More

We had dinner here our first night and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. It is a popular place with a brew house feel. The dining room is noisy and not a particularly good place for a quiet dinner.

We enjoyed the ambiance of the Broken Oar with its log cabin feel. The menu boasts some really good smoked meats like pulled pork. The sides, including a house made three bean salad was very tasty. Service as friendly and attentive. Great craft beers in...More

This place was across the street from our motel, so it was convenient, however we had a very long wait and then ended up sitting outside in the chilly air since it had taken so long from when we had first agreed to eat outdoors...More

The BBQ that my wife and I had was nothing but delicious, and the sweet potato fries just made the dinner completely a treat. When in Moab make this restaurant your first stop, and ask for Joe and you will have great service.

I usually don't review restaurants because I am no foodie. But I know good food when I eat it. We ate at the Broken Oar by chance the first night, then came back our second night in town because the food was delicious and the...More

Excellent meal! Setting is log style comfortable. Our server Rainbow was outstanding. In fact, the crew at Broken Oar seemed to work like a well oiled machine.

The Broken Oar Restaurant is the perfect Moab dining destination. Our wide variety of homemade food provides a great escape from the usual mass-produced chain food available. Come tap into something cold with one of our many draft beers, which includes a great selection of local brews, or if it's wine that fits the mood, you won't be disappointed as we have a great selection of local and imported wines. Our unique restaurant decor is best described as "cozy mountain cabin" meets "ski lodge." Relax by our stone fireplace in the cooler months or enjoy the warm atmosphere provided by our enormous outdoor deck If you are looking for a great spot to relax after enjoying the variety of Moab's activities, The Broken Oar is your place. The Broken Oar has a casual social atmosphere that is greatly enhanced by the excellent service provided by its staff
