We were headed home after a weekend at the Treehouse Camp, and had heard great things about Nutter's. The ice cream was excellent. Be prepared, cash only. Reminiscent of eras past... very old-school. Large portions, very reasonable prices. Beautiful spot right in town. Proprietor was not too friendly, warranting my 4/5 review. The man behind the counter was very nice.... More

This ice cream absolutely delicious. It was definitely worth the line outside. The ice cream is cheap and taste amazing! We will stop here again if ever in the area!

My wife and I went for a tour of Antietam and Harpers Ferry, and when we were leaving Sharpsburg we noticed a nice little crowd outside of Nutters Ice Cream. We decided to go in and get ice cream cones since it was a warm day in February. Sammy and Debbie were working that day and were great in giving... More

You need to visit Nutter's in Sharpsburg, Maryland. You can have an amazing amount of ice cream for your money! There are many choices of flavors for the hand dipped ice cream and either chocolate or vanilla soft serve. There are sundaes, banana splits, and milk shakes. The staff is friendly and there is a small town atmosphere that can't... More

I bring groups of mostly active older adults there, who are with us for hiking, Biking, or history experiences. These folks are from all over the country, and even some international visitors. I am proud to be able to share with them this experience. Excellent Ice Cream!, Excellent service, a unique setting that celebrates the past, and the small town... More

Great ice cream, with generous portions, at very reasonable prices. Seasonal favorites (like egg nog and peppermint stick in December) and yummy sundaes, too. And the shop is decorated with a mix of vintage country decorations and photos of the local kids sports teams they support. I don't stop every time I drive by, but I want to.

Fantastic ice cream at a good price (damned cheap, actually). Good folks behind the counter, definitely a local crowd. Cash only.

Bring cash. Excellent ice cream selection. Nice antique decor. Feels splendidly rundown. It's real. This is not "antique-chic" by any means.Remus and Romulus (the Sisters) do a good job dishing up anything that suits your sweet tooth. Expect long lines in summer. It's worth the wait.
