For more than 7 years, I keep coming back to this small restaurant in the Mission/Castro district for my Steamed Clams and Garlic Bread lunch. The price used to be $12. It's now $18. Inflation and San Francisco are to be blamed. Anyway, the clams...More

We Googled "best crab Louie salad" and found this place for lunch. Glad we did. It was small and felt like some place the locals would go instead of the touristy places down by the wharf. Ironically, though, none of us ended up ordering the...More

I have been craving fried whole belly clams for a long time (I know they're not the healthiest, but once in a while...). In any case, they're not easy to find in the cities I typically spend time in. On a visit to San Francisco,...More

Really enjoyed this place. Small and not too noisy. Great service and reasonably priced. Two of us had the cioppino which was the best I've had! Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. Will definitely go back again.

Last night in San Francisco for our anniversary and wanted some good seafood in a relaxing setting. This did not disappoint. The food is really good and very reasonable, especially for SF. The wife had the shrimp and avocado sandwich and I had the cioppino...More

This unassuming local joint has fantastic and affordable local cuisine (seafood)! They didn't seem like they often entertained tourists but the food was great and nice to dine with locals. I would strongly recommend, as the seafood food was fantastic.

Fish and seafood, always fresh and reasonably priced. Oysters, crab (in season), daily fish specials are all great. Efficient and friendly service make for a pleasant visit. No reservations, so depending on time / day you could wait a while. The cioppino is a terriffic...More

We walked in without one, I don't know if they take one or not, when we were there last month, everyone seemed just to walk in.
