Edsel is an awesome manager. Treated us so well, the staff was very attentive. Food was fresh and delicious. We came back for a second meal the next day. Same results. I would say, that with all the choices of dining on a short vacation...More

It was a rainy day and we wanted a bite to eat, not dinner. We ordered Crab Cakes and were surprised it was a whole meal. The Crab Cakes itself were quite filling already. Needless to say, we did not need dinner that day.

We went to Fisherman's Warf to have a Shrimp and Crab Sandwich. The place we normally go was already closed so we tried this. The sandwiches were served on sliced bread like you'd make P&J with. So disappointing. Our normal serves them on Sour Dough...More

I'm sorry to hear how your first visit here went. You're right to expect delicious seafood served by attentive service, so it's disappointing if that wasn't the case when you stopped by for our shrimp and crab sandwich. I will take note of your review...More

Clam chowder was very good as was the daily special of garlic crab legs and shrimp. However, the crab cakes were just okay as was the shrimp salad. Service was inattentive and very slow.More

While I'm glad the clam chowder and garlic crab legs hit the spot, I'm sorry to hear about the crab cakes and shrimp salad. I wish we could have made a better impression with those and our service, Sidney. In any case, I do appreciate...More

I didn't like seeing the mass volume of crab/seafood rolls stacked up in the refrigerated windows, so I went inside the restaurant to get a fresh sandwich made. I paid $20 for a tasteless sandwich. It was a reasonable size and came with fries but...More

We eat here every time we are in San Francisco. And over the past 20 years have not been disappointed. It is always busy, lunch or dinner, always noisy, and always a great meal for the money.

We would go back! We had lunch with family on June 6, 2017 and we had a bowl of the Manhattan and the Boston chowder. Both were pretty good. Kids ordered chicken strips and they were ok, Draft beer was local and good. Hostess said...More
