I must have got lucky at the Chinatown Restaurant because everything I ate here was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Huge servings of tasty food is all I want from a restaurant and this place didn't disappoint me at all. The ice cream to finish off was also delicious.

We should have known from the tout trying to get us into their restaurant from the street below, but unfortunately we went anyway to "Chinatown Restaurant". Even if the food was bearable (the shrimps did not need the mayonaise though), the service and most strikingly the service charge definitely were not. In short: unfriendly service and a huge surprise on... More

The food is actually very good, but it's not worth the price, especially if you take sea food. Also, the waiters try to make you take the most expensive dishes, while they don't smile much.

Service was slow and some of the wait staff did not speak English. Food was so-so. They automatically added 20% tip which was not deserved. I will not go here again and will tell all my friends and family not to go here.

This restaurant came highly recommended. We thought it was just OK. We tried 4 vegetarian dishes egg drop soup, vegetarian Lo mein, green beans and spicy eggplant. Everything was fine, well seasoned but greasy and not terribly appealing. The decor is shabby and the wait staff while attentive seemed rushed and uninterested. They also added 20% gratuity even though there... More

Walking the streets of Chinatown looking for a good place to eat can be a daunting challenge. There are an overwhelming number of choices. This establishment lures people in the door by people standing on nearby corners with flyers advertising free potsticker appetizers. It worked with our party of 6. Before you walk upstairs to the dining room, you might... More

Indifferent rude abrupt service, indifferent poor quality food. Then they had the arrogance to add a tip to the bill - what was I tipping? there was no service, ambience was dismal and the food was mediocre at best

Our experience was disappointing... We ordered bacon wraped shrimp ($6,95 for 3), wich was good, but the complimentary potsticker and the seafood with bokchoy ($22.95) were flavorless... They charged $3 for a pot of tea, wich I found abusive. One interesting aspect are the posters hanged on the walls because they show old photos and tell the story of chinese... More

First day in china town and we were hustle in this restaurant by street flyers. We ordered slice duck but got fried duck which was not ordered (tried it and tasted terrible) but the waitress said that is what we ordered and had pay for it and reorder the slice duck and that too was bad We did complained but... Set meal for 2. On the face of it good value at $21.95 each but with drinks and the outrageous 18% tip added without asking it wasn't so cheap. The food was just you say OK.. ..no more
