OK from the outside you’re like I’m not eating there but then you go inside and up the stairs and it is gorgeous if you’re looking for some really reasonable priced authentic Chinese food in the heart of Chinatown this is your place. When you...More

We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday and were dismayed to be told at time of ordering the food that there was no crispy duck because they had run out. The reason they gave was they ‘only have a small amount’. I think if this...More

My hotel recommended this restaurant in Chinatown. The potstickers were ok but the seafood hotpot was really good. I’d cheerfully come back another time. And the staff made me feel welcome.

We were in town enjoying the Chinese New Year celebration, and didn't have plans for dinner. We were following the parade through town and of course became hungry. My wife popped her head in and they were able to seat our party of 6 within...More

Oriental Pearl is a little tough to find, but worth the search. We ate light starting with Egg Flower soup (excellent), followed by awesome Siu Mai Dim Sum, followed by Singapore noodles that were recommended and were fantastic. Interesting ambiance because the entrance is not...More

We dropped in by chance, and the efficient waiter recommended a platter with eight different dishes for two. A nice experience with interesting and well prepared pieces. The spring rolls were delicious! Came with a large pot of tea. The total price was 41 USD.

This is a favorite that we return to every time we visit San Francisco. Consistently good, with fresh ingredients, friendly service and reasonable prices. Last night we hosted a dinner for six people and everyone enjoyed sharing eight different dishes. My favorite was Peking Duck.

We were recommended this restaurant by the concierge at our hotel. As a group of 12 we were very grateful to get into the restaurant at the last minute. The restaurant was full of large groups. Our family all love their Chinese food and we...More

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's
Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique

streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs
awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on
dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who
gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or
practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,

I think there was a tofu dish that didn't contain meat. However this isn't a vegetarian restaurant so do bear in mind that the same wok is used to cook meat dishes.
