Found service polite, but main courses arrived in a disjointed manner. Plates were cold and food was lukewarm. This combination made the food almost inedible. Very disappointing end to a great day in SFO.

Can't go to San Fran and not eat at Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. this was our choice. Very satisfied with it. Traditional fancier type Chinese restaurant. Food was very good, service was same. Price was reasonable give type of restaurant it was.

We were surprised to find Chinatown is mostly retailers and not restaurants so finding an eatery wasn't straightforward. We found 'the Pearl' off the main Chinatown Street. We intended to have a snack and a beer so ordered appetisers only, they were delightful. Then we...More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge in the Sheraton Hotel. It was the best meal we had in San Francisco. Food was gorgeous, hot and well presented. Staff was great and friendly. I'd highly recommend.

The headline is a result of reading the mixed reviews of this place, AFTER we had already dined here as a result of doing a tour of Chinatown with a local guide. He recommended it and dined with us at lunchtime. He liked the place,...More

Visited on a Monday lunchtime. We had vegetable spring rolls for starters and I had chicken black beans sauce. Food was freshly prepared and of good quality. Restaurant seemed fairly busy and well used by the locals.

Six of us were visiting SFO and were recommended to go to this Chinese as it had awards... many years ago. It looks extremely tired and to be honest dirty. We were seated where they almost threw the plates and glasses down on the table....More

We came here looking for a reasonably priced meal and some good dim sum. Reading the reviews we thought we would get that but was very disappointed. The dim sum range was very limited and the meat within them that we had was grisly and...More

I think there was a tofu dish that didn't contain meat. However this isn't a vegetarian restaurant so do bear in mind that the same wok is used to cook meat dishes.
