I stopped in for a quick treat. Because it was Valentines Day -- the treats were heart shaped! Everything looked very inviting. I loved my rocky road bar. Super rich, moist and packed with almonds.

A brightly lit cafe near SF MOMA - delicious coffee and cakes. Shame they don't serve drink-ins in real cups though I guess it enables you to instantly turn it into a take-out if required! Delicious chocolate almond biscotti.

If you are looking for a quick coffee, delicious pastry, or just the right salad for lunch, try Cafe Madeline on O'Farrell. My go to stop for a morning coffee or quick lunch. Staff is always friendly and food is consistent.

Yum Yum Yum. Get the lemon bombe!! We bought 3 desserts and sat out and people-watched while walking around San Francisco. One block over is Irish Times and they serve breakfast until about 1pm. So we had our breakfast dessert at Madeleine. A real treat, only $6 per sweet. They also have gorgeous sandwiches.

We were staying at the Omni Hotel so we walked to this little restaurant, simply because our granddaughters name is Madeleine. Yummy!! Very cute inside we both had coffee and a pastry and both were great! We simply ran out of days, otherwise we would have been back. I asked if they would sell me a few cups and bags... More

We went there for our second breakfast of the day after we did the mistake to order first at the Bio cafe just up the street, and let me tell you what a difference this place is from that dump of a Bio cafe. This is a quick, yummy place for a good cup of coffee or a breakfast sandwich.... More

The most friendly staff we encountered in all of San Francisco. The grilled cheese, tomato soup, bbq pork sandwich, and special turkey pesto sandwich were all delicious. The pastries looked beautiful and delicious but we were too full to try any. Dine in or take away available. Reasonable prices for good quantity of food.

This little gem is outside of our San Fran office location, so makes it a quick stop for breakfast or lunch. It has daily specials which get you through the line faster like the express sandwich of the day - prosciutto n cheese with garlic aioli on a French baguette. Yum! Amazing pastries and cookies. The only reason I did... More

Staying at the Four Seasons and decided to venture out for breakfast rather than pay the Seasons exorbitant in-dining prices. Had the spinach and goat cheese quiche. Very good. There's a few bar stools to sit down, but it's primarily a to-go place. Also had the cappuccino; excellent!
