A colleague of mine recommended I go to Cafe Taza for breakfast while in San Francisco for work. Taza did not disappoint. The place is very small but they have an upstairs area that is both quiet and comfortable. Their coffee selection is good and...More

We had huevos rancheros and number 2 breakfast, both on the small side compared to what we're used to in the States. Huevos not very attractive to the eye (pool of beans, squirt of sour cream and teaspoon of guacamole), breakfast: dry scrambled eggs. So-so.

My sister and I ate breakfast here every morning during our 4 day stay in San Francisco. We were staying in the hotel next door and they recommend we eat here. The food was delicious and reasonably priced plus the service was great. They also...More

Really enjoyed the chorizo and egg breakfast sandwich, if I was in San Fran longer would have probably ate breakfast here everyday. Looks small from the outside but there is additional table upstairs.

Cafe La Taza is very small, but very good. You walk in and order at the counter, pay and find a seat. My wife and I were in a bit of a hurry or breakfast due to a morning meeting. They brought the food within...More

Little ‘hole in the wall’ that delivered big flavor. If you value quality over aesthetics this is the place for you. Delicious coffee, baked items and egg scrambles. The true ambiance is the people. A slice of life in this part of SF.

This is a nice little place close to Union Square, with a few tables on the ground floor and a few more upstairs. They serve Mexican inspired breakfast & sandwiches. The quality of the food is above average, not poor quality, but nothing special. Majority...More
