If you're looking for a break from the chaos of Fisherman's Wharf, but still want the views, stop for a glass of wine at this wine bar located on the "quiet" side of the Wharf.

Sat outside on a nice November afternoon. This place was a lot more relaxed than most of the other restaurants on the pier. Wife & I split a cheese plate and the crab & shrimp Louis salad with a couple of very nice glasses of wine.

This is a nice place to grab a table on the patio and rest your legs. They have an extensive wine list and the service was great.

We stopped here as It looked like a nice place to have a wine. It had a nice terrace garden feel and was decorated nicely with flowers and vines and fairylights, The server was nice and sat us under the heat lamp as it was a little cold and rainy. We were presented with a wine menu and we enjoyed... More

After taking a cruise from Pier 39 and done some shopping, wines of California seemed the perfect place to relax. Great music and atmosphere. Luis recommended a great Mexican beer that complimented perfect our busy day. The other customers seemed happy there and we were all having good time. This bar it is different from other noisy bars around Pier... More

This is a nice wine cafe on Pier 39 with a really nice menu of wines and other snacks. They are very pricy with a bottle starting at $32 or so but averaging around $40. Don't forget the tax and tip which will add another $7 or 8. The really good thing about this place is that it has a... More

This attraction was a little difficult to find due to the poor signage. However once we finally found we were not disappointed with the quality of the wine and snack foods. It was a mild day so the addition of the glass winds breaks and the over head heaters were really welcomed. I think the price of the tasting reflects... More

In the midst of the craziness of Pier 39, this place was awesome to get off your feet and grab a little bite. My wife and i got the clam chowder breadbowl and the half dozen oysters on the half shell. Both were terrific and the scenery over the bay was an added bonus. Great wine selection of wines, but... A perfect little get-away on a hot summer afternoon. We enjoyed two glasses of wine on a cute little patio accompanied with a (very tiny!) bowl of nuts and sourdough bread and olive oils. While there was little information about the vineyards or years for each wine, it was a lovely stop nonetheless. There were likely 30 nuts under filled... More

The first thing I noticed when our very young server handed us menus is that none of the wines had a vintage year listed. I asked him what the vintages were, he replied, "They're all very recent." I had visions of someone in back stomping the grapes for each glass. Foolishly, we ordered some wine anyway. It tasted like someone... More
