When you order a "tasting platter" for almost $25 and you get a small dish of fridge cold pickles...well you can feel a bit fooled. Generally mediocre food, small location, poor atmosphere.

i went with my family to this restaurant as we have russian roots and as we hadn't seen each other for some time, thought it would be good to eat some homegrown food. The restaurant is on a corner street, about 20 mins from central...More
Stopped here after a long day and it was just wonderful. The place is small, but the service is great and the food was just amazing. It was some of the best I have ever eaten. Katia is so friendly and she personally checks on...More
Katia's is a perfect family owned restaurant. I almost feel like I am at Katia's home. The food is excellent, atmosphere is lovely (wouldn't change a thing), and the staff is welcoming and attentive. Amount other things that I love here is the sauerkraut- best...More

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Everything is always spot on! We live more than an hour away and it is worth the drive. I also enjoy when an owner/chef takes the time to visit in the dining room.
Small neighbourhood restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. Herring appetizers, borscht soup, piroshki's; all well recommended.
