The food was good. The fish fresh. Alioto's is an enjoyable place to dine. The wait staff is attentive, but not overly so. You can enjoy your dinner and a conversation with family and friends. This is an Italian Seafood restaurant.

Stopped in for appetizers... the shrimp pots in garlic sauce were delicious. We also had calamari in fra diavlo sauce which was very tasty. Don’t forget to check out the beautiful view from upstairs of the golden gate bridge!

One of the best views of golden gate bridge and a great meal to boot. Very attentive staff and reasonably priced. Not touristy at all.

I'm sorry I don't know either. I agree with the other's the corking fee would probably be for bringing your own wine. I've been there many times and have not noticed anyone bringing their own wine.
