Thomas and I loved this place. It was 4pm and we were hungry. The happy hour was so reasonable and we found the sushi and California rolls to be delicious... it was outstanding value also... it's a no frills tasty place...

We had dinner there because of the sign advertising happy hour food and drinks. It was worth it as the food was tasty, beer was well priced and we wouldn't have gone in unless it was happy hour. Service was excellent

Went to Osaka Sushi with my local friend. Had moriawase 10 nigiri. Unbelivable taste, and good prices. Sake also good!

I ordered the sashimi sushi combination and was really surprised at how large the pieces of fish are, I'd call this a good value. Quality was overall good as well. I finished my meal with Japanize uni worth the extra cost over the domestic uni and enjoyed a bottle of cold unfiltered sake. When in the Castro I would go... More

Great location right on Castro street, but sushi itself was mediocre at best. Wasn't "bad" by any means, but won't be anywhere near the best sushi you'll ever have.

We went here late at night, we had an early lunch, but it was expensive, so we didn't want to spend too much on dinner. The price here can start to build up if you're opting for the sushi. I had a 3 choice bento, wasn't too bad given the quantity and that it was Japanese food. If you're hungry... More

I eat today in this restaurant for lunch. We did the happy hour (from 4 to 6 pm) and for just 10$ we had a california roll (6 pieces) + alaska roll (6 pieces) + gyoza (4 pieces). The other friends ate also spicy salmon and spicy tuna (quite spicy)! During happy hour the prices are between 2.95$ and 5.95$... More

Lunch on Sunday was a disaster. The place was empty and we soon learned why. Sushi was the worst I have ever had. OIngredients did not taste fresh or good. This was followed by a chicken teriaki dinner (even though it was lunch time) that came on a sizzling hot metal plate on a wooden underplate...the food was piping hot,... More

Wanted to like this place but didn't. Sushi rolls were enormous and managed to be both insipid and actively unappealing. Samson Teriyaki was ok and the miso reminded me how much I dislike fishy water.

The Sushi chef here knows his craft. The rolls are done to perfection and the quality is top notch. This place has a great happy hour with sushi at unbeatable prices.
