I had eaten at Rose's a couple times previously for lunch but this was the first time for dinner. It took us a while to get seated and to get the waiter to recognize us. They weren't that busy so maybe they were short staffed....More

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry your experience fell short. I will review your comments with our GM and Chef. I hope you can give us another try for dinner soon. Best, Laurie

After asking many locals where's the best place for lunch vast majority recommended Rose's....now I see why. Food and service both top notch. Only disappointment was the server recommended coquette (unsure of SP) for dinner and it was awful.....should have went back to Rose's where...More

We were so happy to get a table at Rose's on a rainy Easter morning! The wait staff kindly set two tables for our larger party. The food was great... especially the smoked salmon "pizza".

We stopped into Rose's late one evening and were seated immediately. We just needed a light bite. My husband had the minestrone soup and I had the citrus salad. Both were very good and reasonably priced. Just what we needed.

I came for lunch with a friend on a weekday, and we were seated quickly. I enjoyed my Yukon potato hash, and quite liked that it was not a huge plate of food. What bugged me was being charged $5 for a simple cup of...More

Great place for breakfast / brunch. Very nice outdoor seating. This is one of my favorite go to places for informal meetings over coffee.

We expected a bit more based on recommendations. This small older venue was crowded, so some must think more of it that we did! Our salads were very nice, fresh and appreciated. We both ordered pasta dishes that sounded good on the menu, but neither...More

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.

A favorite in the Cow Hollow neighborhood, Rose's Café is a hangout for locals who bask in the sun at sidewalk tables, duck inside for a cappuccino, or stay for a leisurely lunch or dinner. Many customers are regulars who frequent our pretty bistro-café that offers table service and deliciously consistent food - Italian fare created using organic local produce, fresh seafood, humanely raised meats, and free-range poultry. Rose's artisan bakers bake a daily selection of pastries, desserts and breads. Menu highlights include: pizzas, daily soups, and house made pastas.
