Akiko's is a bit overly-discreet since the name of the restaurant is not outside the establishment -- just the numbers 431. Guess that it's part of their attempt at panache. My husband and I had a decent meal there last week. The fish seems fresh,...More

We found Akikos interesting though most of the dishes we chose were seasoned on the sweet side and not to our taste. The fish was fresh. I didn't love the sushi rolls because there wasn't enough moisture to soften the nori so it was a...More

Great experience at the sushi bar, Eric made all kinds of interesting Sashimi pieces for me. Butterfish and others that I had never eaten before, they were terrific. Be ready when you get your bill though.

Best sushi I've had - hands down. Fresh ingredients, great service and good value for the quality you're getting.

Omakase at the sushi bar was superb: creative, excellent quality, friendly professional service. I sat next to 3 business men from Israel, one who was having sushi for the first time. It's gonna be hard for him to top this experience. Omakase at Akiko's is...More

We have enjoyed sushi nearly every evening during our trip and by far Akikos (Bush street!) has been the best. While more expensive than other restaurants, the quality was evident and worth it. Specialty rolls (grouper and toro) were melt in your mouth delicious with...More

I have reviewed several of the top sushi places in town and each has it unique benefits. This place emphasizes sustainable and organic, not using overfished species, and the choices are mind-blowing. They show where each fish was caught and have them divided into two...More
