I went her because of YouTube video where this is one of the places that claims to be the originator of the burrito. I got my burrito to go because neighborhood was a little sketchy and it was getting dark. The food was just average and definitely not the place to go for a family meal in the evening if... More

I'd noted this place down to visit as I'd seen it on Man V Food, and then stumbled across it when I wasn't even looking for it. Very friendly staff, the lady owner insisted I tasted a little bit of the different burrito fillings as I wasn't sure what I wanted off the extensive menu, and it was all delicious... More

If you want to eat the biggest fresh burrito you have ever seen, go to La Cumbre. We could not eat it all on our own, we had to share one between us and even then we only just finished it :) Great food, and atmosphere. Very fresh, very friendly. Simple but very tasty,

SFs award winning burrito joint never ever disappoints. Juicy but never wet. Flavorful but never overseasoned. Proud yet still humble. Ed and his friendly staff has nailed the perfect burrito. Great place for families and solo diners alike. A bit loud and chilly inside but the 3 kinds of hot sauces will keep you warm. A SF icon that hasn't... More

This little taqueria is located in the vibrant heart of the Mission District. They advertise birthplace of the Mission Burrito. I had a lingua burrito and it was awesome. They have a wide variety of salsa to choose from. The guacamole is amazing. Good cheap eats in the city.

After a great day of bike riding through the city (Thank you to Streets of San Francisco for a great bike tour!), my family went to La Cumbre for a taste of authentic Mexican food. We were quickly met with samples of meatballs and carne al pastor, and selected one of each since both were so good there was no... More
