The place is okay. Before 9 am there aren't any line, so come early. The guy showing us to our seat seemed like he hated his job. However, the other waiters were smiling and were friendly. It is an old diner, but I still don't...More

If you want to try an authentic place to have traditional American breakfast this is a very good choice. Lots to choose from. All is homemade. The place is popular so be early. Opens daily at 7.30 am. Close to the Tenderloin but we did...More

My 2nd visit here since they moved to the South of Market. I really don’t like the alleyway where most of us end up lining up for 45 mins to get in the street cleaning machine drive by and washed the street. But someone needs...More

This place looks small on the outside, and like nothing much, but inside there is some great eats! The portions are huge & the lines get long quick! We went on a weekday around 9am and only had to wait about 15 minutes. Pancakes were...More

After reading several reviews it is clear the food is going to be plentiful and good. We were concerned about having to wait for a long time to be seated based on lots of reviews. If you go early enough, before 8:30am, it isn’t a...More

Dottie's is absolutely one of the best breakfast options in downtown San Francisco. Amazing and unique omelette and frittata options not available anywhere else in the city. They keep it simple and consistent. Known for their signature and amazing pancakes, not your typical pancake (more...More

LOVED the ambiance and food, but you can't be in a hurry. Once in, no one rushed me, I was alone on a business trip. Good idea to let them know if you're a single, as they have a counter that comes available sometimes before...More

I am in DC and yes we have some breakfast places but no Dotties! This place lived up to its reputation. The server was helpful and funny. The food came out quick and was delicious. I was able to park across the street because there...More

I ordered the pancakes which came with syrup, they were delicious and very filling so I was happy with my order. Free refills of coffee but the location was dodgy and had lots of homeless around it. The queue was long so be prepared to...More

We walked several blocks from Our hotel on Market to Dotties. The guy who recommended Dotties warned us that we would have to go through some sketchy areas-- Naw. We got right in, the help were all pleasant and attentive, the menu was diverse, and...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

I would assume about 7a.m. If that's your goal. The area is not the greatest there are a fair amount of homeless hanging around in the area. I felt more comfortable being in a bit of a crowd and not being the only one... More

Now located in a beautiful 1910 building with brick walls and hardwood floors with an open kitchen and very cozy atmosphere. Roof top seating when the weather permits for coffee and pastries or a glass of wine in the afternoon. We have an additional seating capacity of approximately 24 making for a quicker turnaround.
