Not the greatest location as it's on the edge of a bad part of town but the food is outstanding. Went early afternoon, service was great and food is always exceptional

Great service, amazing food! We split a big breakfast with eggs, home fries, bacon and pancakes. More than enough for two however we also had a red velvet muffin to split. Service was fast and friendly. Food was amazing. Coffee flowed quickly and hot. This...More

Service could be better like pointing out the specials or at least mentioning them for the day. I had the southwestern omelette, very good flavor, the salsa and tortilla added to the meal. The home style potatoes were excellent, but the flavor is best when...More

The food was great. I would say it was worth waiting in the long line but the wait wasn’t because the food is great, it’s due to the slow service. Tables sat empty just waiting to be cleaned and it took 15 minutes for a...More

It’s an average breakfast place. Most of us can cook as well at home. It’s an interesting old building surrounded by lots of homeless people. There is a queue on Sunday morning but not long. Service is friendly. Food is average. Coffee is charged by...More

Breakfast was really good but the line was long and even single open spots were not offered when open. Need to have time to wait on line for service and for food. The banana raspberry pancakes were excellent...

If you want to avoid long waiting lines, need to get there early, but even then you might need to wait more than usuall to get the food. Breakfast was quite good, especially loved the 1920's Prohibition Whiskey Blueberry Crumb Cake

Dottie's doesn't take reservations. Apparently, Dottie's is the stuff of legends and after eating there, I can see why. We arrived about 8:30 on a Saturday morning. We only had to wait about 20 minutes before getting a table. This place was packed and the...More

Whoever came up with the idea of using scone/muffins as sandwich bread is a genius. At Dottie’s, I went for the breakfast special of fried egg, avo and pavolone ham muffin sandwich, which came with home fries and fresh fruits. I swooned on the first...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

I would assume about 7a.m. If that's your goal. The area is not the greatest there are a fair amount of homeless hanging around in the area. I felt more comfortable being in a bit of a crowd and not being the only one... More

Now located in a beautiful 1910 building with brick walls and hardwood floors with an open kitchen and very cozy atmosphere. Roof top seating when the weather permits for coffee and pastries or a glass of wine in the afternoon. We have an additional seating capacity of approximately 24 making for a quicker turnaround.
