I have eaten here multiple times. Great entrees, salads, soups. Charming atmosphere and friendly waiters.

This is a local institution. Chow Church is popular and always busy. I can tell it's a reliable standby - I wish I had one by my house so that I could easily get simple, comfort classics with just a tad of a hippie vibe. My Cobb Salad was simple - not overly composed - with crispy bacon, freshly roasted... More

I eat at Chow all the time, and I can't believe I have not written a review yet. OK, to start with, the brunch is off the hook. They make things a little different than the usual fare. They have an extensive drink menu, including fresh squeezed juice. The chiliquiles are really amazing (weekends only). They have great sandwiches and... More

The menu is eclectic, offering sandwiches, pizza, soups, burgers & delicious house-made pies. Two of us ordered a glass of red; one house selection, one Malbec. Very enjoyable wines. I ordered the 9" thin & crispy prosciutto pizza with fresh tomatoes, which is served With arugula. Very good! And they made it crispy on the edges, which is the way... More

I've been several times and everything I've had has been very tasty. The Thai Style Noodles are my favorite, but I've also had the Seafood Linguini and Lasagna. Both are amazing. Also, the cobbler is to die for. Make sure to ask for a scoop of ice cream on top.

Ate here twice while in San Fran for business. The food is delicious! Had the Fusilli w/chicken and sausage and also the pot roast. Both very good. The salads are fresh, crisp and tasty too. The staff are informative and welcoming. If the restaurant is busy and seating is limited -- I recommend eating at the bar. I had a... More

Close to our B & B, we ate dinner here one evening. It is really a local place, full of neighborhood people. It is the people that make the difference here. Our server was fantastic. Knowing that we were tourists he gave us his list of other eateries to try. Chow's uses organic foods as much as possible. The food... More

I love that they had healthy and organic options. However, the food and drinks were overpriced. The food was delicious. Our server was not as attentive as he was with his other tables. He seemed a little tired and didn't seem to be enthusiastic.

Visited Chow on a recommendation and despite having to drive around for a while looking for parking I am very glad we did. The food was great, and the service was even better. Love the vibe at Chow.
