I had already tried their joint in Williamsburg and knew they had great sausages. This time I went for the Chicken Habanero with spicy beef chili, which didn't disappoint. This one is very spicy, just the way I like it. Best part though is that you can order the hotdogs and then enjoy it at the Toronado next door, with... More

Some friends and I were in SF and wanted to hit up Toronado for some unique craft beers but needed some food in our stomachs as well. Rosamunde turned out to be the perfect place. The wait was a little long but this place was literally right next door so we were a able to grab a table at Toronado... More

I live in SF and can tell you this is a good spot. Several choices including vegan options, provides variety but within the sausage family. No burgers or chicken sandwiches. This is pure play sausage and it's good. Not recommended for eating in, but you can take out to the internationally known Toranado next door and have a great beer... More

I found this place by wandering around my hotel area. Great to see they have homemade sausages! I orderd the beer sausage with grilled onions and sauerkraut..looked good but the sausage was not hot (temperature). The lunch special price of 12.50 is a good deal. Would try it again!!

Delicious hot dogs! The hard working lady at the kitchen is very nice and makes delicious sausages. The prices are fair.

Great little place for German sausage! The lady was super nice and friendly. Couldn't decide what to get so she helped me out. I ordered the Nuernberger bratwurst! Very tasty! Would definitely go back!

Let your guy choose and you end up eating at places you might never have chosen. I have to admit he did well. This place is the size of a walk-in closet and serves great, cooked-to-order sausages on a bun. They range from bratwurst to spicy, pork, duck, chicken and wild boar. We had the Wednesday special: Thai spicy chicken... More

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighbourhood Profile
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighbourhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
