We were absolutely blessed to happen upon this gem. We were greeted with a friendly smile and sat at the sushi bar. The fish was displayed beautifully and the sushi chef immediately made our selection - crisp white coat and brilliantly sharp knife. We had the lunch chirachi selection - the fish selected was divine and a really lovely sampling.... More

My fiancée and I visited Flying Ninja Sushi on Easter Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised they were open. Service was good and fast and the sushi was amazing! The Lion King roll was our absolute favorite. We also really enjoyed Seattle roll and Bay scallop roll. The chef special was great, the waitress asked what we liked and did not... More

Upon being seated we were told it was 20 minutes to closing time. No biggie, it was just two of us and we knew what we wanted. We order a side of steamed rice, two orders of Maki rolls and a few pieces of Nigiri. I felt the portions were good and sushi was fresh and it was reasonably priced.... More

We stopped in this place whilst walking around fisherman's wharf. First we stopped on the terrace then we moved inside. Sushis and sashimi were great. Service was also great. We enjoyed this place. The check totaled $200 for 5 including drinks and soups which was correct taking into account the amount of food served.

Fast service and fresh sushi. I had gone to a couple different sushi bars while in SF and this was defiantly the better of the two. Good size portions that were not all rice.

Tired of crabs and clams I decided to visit Flying Ninja and was pleased by the results. There were quite a few options for rolls so I picked the Shrek roll (good), the Bay Scallop (baked) roll (really good) and the XXX (really good). Empty for a Tuesday night but overall a nice experience.

It is not very exciting. We got a comb entree. A lot of rice in the rolls. The spicy tuna was inedible. Ick.

Amidst many tourist oriented restaurants this sushi place is quite reasonable. We actually came back twice.

We were staying close by and were too tired to venture far from our hotel. Although very hesitant to go to a sushi restaurant in such a touristy area, we were pleasantly surprised. We visited on a Monday evening and ordered a Golden Gate Bridge roll, 2 other roll, shrimp tempura, kappa maki roll, edamame and gyoza. Service was pleasant... More

This is an average restaurant for Sushi and Asian food. It is the Fisherman Wharf tourist are, so if you have the time go out side the tourist area and look for a better place.
