This is a good pre-ballet/opera/symphony restraurant if you want a casual meal or haven't made a reservation in advance. The vibe is busy, cozy, and casual. You order food and drinks at the counter, and they're brought to your seat. There's a wide variety of...More

The Grove has spots around the city and is a good place for casual meal with good food. We often stop here on our way to performances at nearby venues. Sometimes I'll treat myself to the chicken pot pie or get one of the big...More

We went by cable car from our hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. Fun to do that. We went specifically because my husband wanted chicken pot pie and The Grove offered chicken pot pie. He wasn't disappointed - it was excellent. Also - good drinks. Great bloody...More

The Grove is a great meeting space but the food and drink are well over priced. A little bit of a snobby environment.

I went here and have the tuna melt. It was so good. One must try the vegetarian chili. Other than the food, The workers were so welcoming.

I really like this location. It has less seating but the food is awesome. The brunch menu has a wide variety. The Sour Cherry pie is a great dessert. It gets packed but worth the wait.

It's one of those restaurants where you order, and then given a number, and some time later the staff brings out your food. The problem with this, you ask? Well, if there's a problem with your food, it is challenging because you don't have a...More

We had the salmon omelette and egg & avacado toast for breakfast - both were good. Nice latte and chai, too.

The people were super friendly and helpful from the minute you get in the door. Busy and crowded. Loud and not quiet. The best food. We had soups and the bread was amazing. The spritzer drinks are the most awesome drinks ever. All the dishes...More

Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky
