This place is every bit as good as claimed. Had the legendary margherita and a pepperoni. Both where very different, but equally good. A must visit!

We had to wait about 45 minutes but this wasn’t bad for a Fridaynight. We had a New York pizza, it was fantastic!!!! The food is definitely worth the wait.

The humongous meatball was spectacular. They only serve 25 a day. We had two and a pizza. Go all the way. The pizza was good and you can choose the dough you like best, but if I go again, is for the meatball with the...More

Tony's is truly a pizza restaurant. You'll have to make a lot of decisions -- different crusts, ovens, toppings. It's fun with a group when you can try more than one combination. Their gluten free crust is excellent, too. The wait on a Saturday night...More

Tender fresh pizzas of many styles. We tried Margherita - nice. New Jersey Tomato pie with pepperoni and our own American style with mushrooms onions and pepperoni. They have coal, gas and wood ovens. We sat outside under a heater and awning. It was great...More

The have ample veg options, only issue being they also have limited number of pizzas in some categories. We wanted to try the Grandma's Spicy pizza but it was already over for the day, so I'd suggest going there for lunch. Also, they don't take...More

You can find pizza just as good at any other restaurant. Have they won an award. Sure. But that doesn’t mean they are making that same exact pizza every time. Trust me. I’m not an expert and can tell you it was not an award...More

This is our second visit to Tony's. It has gone downhill. The pizza was greasy and there was too much cheese. Most importantly the crust was soggy. Very disappointing.

Tony’s did not disappoint. Finally got to eat here after a few visits to San Fran and it was well worth the wait. This was the best pizza I’ve ever had (and I have done plenty of research). Charming atmosphere and excellent service.

Heard about the Margherita Pizza here and holy cow - it is the best I have ever had. Meatball Gigante and Tiramisu are musts as well. Overall one of my favorite meals ever. Arrive 30 minutes before opening to make sure you get a table...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
