Packed on Tuesday night, maybe for the HALF PRICE WINE BOTTLES on offer. We sat at the bar on 2 nights, didn't have food. Bar tenders on both nights were very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Great vibe, 40's age group mostly. Will def return.

I sat outside on the patio and had a great dinner while looking at the Bay Bridge. The food and service were excellent. I had the NY strip and it was expertly cooked. My cousin had the Lamp Shank and it too was expertly done. Great ambiance, great service, good price.

Took the ferry from Oakland over to the Embarcadero, and found this place within a few blocks. Actually I was led there after soliciting advice from the guys staffing parking at the fancy French place on the corner. I would likely not seen it, as there was construction overhead, so I was grateful for their recommendation. Crowded with a Cubbie... More

I stopped in here for a snack after checking into the Hotel Griffon. The service was good and my table overlooked the Bay Bridge. At the waitress's recommendation, I had the Ahi Poke, which was quite tasty. Unfortunately, they were out of the Apple Betty, but I've heard very good things about it.

I stayed here for a business trip for 3 nights and 2 of those nights I ate at Perrys. Wonderful food! had the filet the first night, which was delicious and the post roast the following night. My coworkers had salads, hot wings and calamari which were all great! I would say a good price for the location as well.... More

Service and food was great. Be sure to get a reservation, gets crowded and can be a little cramped. New England Clam Chowder is phenomenal.

A friend and I have been meeting at Perry's for lunch for the past four years. Good food, service and wonderful location. Staff very friendly. Always crowded at lunch.

Very popular restaurant and bar with good food, good drinks, and good service. The meatloaf was my "comfort food" after flying in from the East Coast, and I can highly recommend it. (The chili, however, is not up to par; order something else.)

On our recent visit to San Francisco we ate twice at Perry's on the Embarcadero. On both occasions food was plentiful and very tasty. Service was great. This bar has a very busy vibe and frequented by both locals and visitors. We did not have a reservation, but they managed to fit us in both times. Would definitely eat here... More

We only had breakfast here, but it was quite good. A lot of food for a reasonable price, and quite tasty. If you are sports junky, there are multiple TV's. We were there when the morning weather was cool and nice, so they had the restaurant open air style, with the front doors open. It was quite beautiful. We were... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
