This a somewhat hole in the wall, drive in! This is a MUST go to place to eat if your hanging out on the leeward coast.Plates are full & plentiful while prices are reasonable too. Ham. Steak or chicken katsu are out favorites to eat there. The breakfast combo is our SUNDAY BREAKFAST regular.

I will say you get a ton of food for your money. My problem with it is the cleanliness of the place. Too many fly's for my liking.

Stopped here for lunch after snorkeling at Electric Beach while driving up to Makaha. Not bad! Generous portions but the macaroni in the mac salad was overlooked & kind of mushy. I had the BBQ chicken plate lunch & chicken was tasty yet had a bit of fat & skin still on it. The only hot sauce they had was... More

We ordered the barbecue mix plate, and although it was cheaper than their competitors across the street, it wasn't as tasty. The rice was way too sticky, the ribs fatty and bland, the teriyaki steak was almost flavorless. The chicken was better, though, and the macaroni salad was exactly the same. All in all, next time I'll pay a couple... More

Excellent selection of local style plate lunches. Large portions, and reasonable prices. They have Fried rice, Chicken Chop Suey, Sweet Sour Spareribs all served with mac salad and rice..the Localmoco is the bomb.

We were staying in the area for a few days. We passed by this place a few times, but the day before we saw that a police officer stopped here to get food, so we figured this place has to be good. The place doesn't look like much, it's a walk up with only a few tables for sitting out... More

I've driven by this place so many times and judged it by its looks and I was wrong. We finally stopped by one day and I was pleasantly surprised by how much food they give and it tasted pretty good too. Good thing for the Internet with sites like Trip Advisor so visitors and locals alike can find out about... More

Best Chinese we've had on the island. Sure, it's a total dump place but so what? The food rocks. Huge portions, cheap, and super tasty. Most definitely we'll be back whenever around Waianae in the future. And that's gonna be within the next couple weeks!

Go. Try it. It's great. I can't wait to go back next time I am on Oahu! Hawaiians know how to cook! You aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover. So why would you judge your food by it's appearance?
