What started as a rough experience ended up being the outstanding experience that we were looking for. My family arrived at 4:15 for the 4:30 tour along with several other families. Unfortunately, the expected tour guide had not arrived by 5:00 and we were all...getting restless. About that time, another individual from the organization took charge and arranged for two other employees to step in and host the tour while also providing several fruit samples. Paige and the other employee provided an awesome tour of the farm - highlights included two new lambs born that afternoon, tastings of various fruits, herbs and vegetables. All should be commended for their outstanding work. In addition, due to the unfortunate mix-up, we were provided with a 50% refund. We were able to top of the tour with a great meal at the restaurant!More

All I can say is take the time to get there. The decor is dated, but the food is outstanding. The goat cheese and herb appetizer is the best thing we ate while visiting Hawaii. So worth the drive. Our meals (coconut Dahl and a...large salad) were also excellent. Don’t miss the cheesecake. It’s unique and wonderful. I added the flowers for the pictures, but the plates are beautiful without them.More

Went here for couples lunch on a recommendation from a local. It is a little off the beaten path, but was worth the drive. The staff was friendly and the food was great with fast service. The grounds were spectacular and are reminisce of a...mainland CSA (farm-to-table). It was very nice to know that everything we were eating was locally sourced and fresh. Very inexpensive too.More

Kahumana organic farms and cafe is amazing! Fresh! Delicious! On my last visit I ordered the daily special: Tandoori chicken with brown rice, farm veggies and a mango salsa...hands down perfection in each and every bite! I also enjoyed a glass of refreshing hibiscus tea....$3- Farm tours are offered $15- for individuals, minimum of 4 or $60 for a private tour. My wife and I traveled here on our honeymoon and had an awesome tour of the farm for about and hour and a half. We got to try all sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables pulled right from the crops and they were delicious! Our...tour guide and farm staff were super friendly and personable. The farm itself was beautiful and unique and has a great mission. After our tour we opted for the farm to table dinner and it was one of the best dinners I had while in Oahu. Loved this place! Way better than many of the other tourist traps on the island.More

Stopped here for lunch. Ordered the goat cheese appetizer and mediterranean salad. Wow, that goat cheese appie was amazing! Goat cheese with fresh herbs from the garden and olive oil, served with bread, yum! The salad was also very good. I had a lemon gingerade...too, refreshing on a warm day. Highly recommend driving 10 minutes or so from the highway to this peaceful spot.More

If you happen to be in Waianae, check out Kahumana Organic Farm and Cafe. The food is delicious. We had a chance to speak with the owner and he shared the history of the place and where the food comes from.

Took a drive off the beaten path stumbled into this wonderful organic farm that has a cafe and the Cafe's food was delicious. An added bonus was that the day I was there just happened to be and outdoor Bluegrass Festival and the music was...wonderful.More

Farm restaurant on organic farm just a few minutes inland from Waianae, Oahu. Outstanding food and one of the few places in this area to get good vegetables. They have limited hours and it is a bit out of the way, but well worth supporting...this social enterprise.More

Kristen our tour guide was excellent giving us a great experience on a great organic sustainable farm whose mission is to give back to the community. She truly had such great knowledge of this working farm and we thoroughly enjoyed all the aspects of the...culture of this wonderful organic farm. We enjoyed a wonderful meal after our tour. We wish we were going to be on the island longer because we would definitely make a return trip to the cafe. We took our friend who lives on the island and they said they will definitely bring more visitors and locals to this wonderful farm.More

Saturday we had lunch with friends who live down the street from this quiet spot. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Not any ambience as it’s all about the food. It’s not inexpensive but yummy!
