If you don’t give this place a 5 star, there’s something wrong with you. It’s famous on the north shore for a reason. If you like shrimp, go for the Po Boy. It will not disappoint!

Enjoyed a family meal on the patio when the rest of the cultural center was closed due to Covid Service was excellent and the chocolate croissants we took home for breakfast the next morning were rated the ‘bst ever!’
An impressive, delectable meal...Ribeye with Ulu Mashed Potatoes and Braised Kal Bi Short Ribs with Ulu Mashed Potatoes with Lilikoi Dressing on my salad. Koko Samoa Cheesecake for dessert!!! These offerings were ultimately an absolute find in the North Shore area! Customer Service from DeeDee...and Our Server, Hu, was on point. The feel was very comfortable and you feel like family here!More
Great food and friendly staff. It was just what we expected from Pounders. The food was excellent and served with little wait; it was cooked perfectly and in large portions. The appetizers were the right size not to large as to fill us up before...the main course. Our server was there for us when we needed him and explained our options and helped with questions. The prices were reasonable for the portion size and food. Pounders is now one of our favorite place to go now and my wife and I highly recommend the trip there.More
I love seafood and had several fish sandwiches while on the island. Hands down, the Hukilau Sandwich was the best. Staff was great, food was quick and priced reasonably, considering their location.
We were there for dinner, restaurant was full, service was a little slow but food was very good. Fish and shrimp were delicious. Ate some bake goods from their bakery they were very tasty.
Got right in, friendly service. I ordered the special (corn chowder). Waitress recommended having soup on the side of the bread bowl (thank you!) bread bowl was green and real doughy. Salad was nice. Hubby had the Hawaiian burger. Bun was real dry meat was...very nice. We enjoyed a banana cream pie.More
Was at the Polynesian Cultural Center so it was convenient and there was not a big crowd, so thought we could get served without a long wait. The food was mediocre. The best was the fish dip with taro chips. Had the fish nuggets and...the fish and chips, fish mushy texture. Waitress was a bit clueless. Didn't know what kind of fish the fish and chips was nor the fish nuggets...it was not mahi mahi. The coffee was clearly instant ...was foaming at the top when first served and it tasted like instant coffee. When we asked the server, she said she didn't know "it comes out of a machine". She came back and said it was NesCafe, though she didn't know how to pronounce it. I think we would have been better off to eat at the food trucks right outside.More
We were staying in town and looking for something quick to grab to take back to our house we were renting. Looked at what they had to offer for pizza and decided to give it a try and man were we glad we did. The...pizza was amazing I have spent some unusual but delicious options not to be missed make sure to check this place ourMore
We ate lunch here before we started walking around the PCC. Really wished I would have know this place was here earlier in our trip because it was close to our hotel, had good food and it was affordable.
