We have ordered ginger chicken at many places on Oahu and Laie Chop Suey has the best of them all. The place is very popular with the locals.

Laie Chop Suey is an affordable option at the Laie Shopping Centre. I regularly get their Lunch Plate, which offers 2 dish options and rice for $7.99. Add an extra dish and it goes to around $9.50. On my visit I got the Cold Ginger...Chicken, the Pork Pot Roast and the Roast Duck. As usually, always consistently great.More

Love this place. There really isn’t anything I’ve ordered that wasn’t good but my favorite thing to order is the pork chow mein. Sometimes I’ll just order that and it makes a great meal or 2. I always get my mother in law the chicken...and vegetable soup being she is diabetic and she never gets sick of it. Great place to eat. Just know going into it that it’s old and looks it but they keep it clean. Friendly staff and good food, what else do you need.More

Once you get past the dining area being old and looking like everything's falling apart. The food here is actually really good. The Hot & Sour Soup is Delicious! I think that they spend more time making sure that their food is top notch versus...the quality of the dining area. The air conditioner looked like it was being held together with a really bad patch job, and our last evening in Laie it was making a horrible noise for about 5 minutes and nobody did anything about it.More

I stumbled onto this restaurant by accident and I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious and the service, well they treat you like family. The menu is wide and many many choices to choose from. The food was hot and very flavorful. I...actually ate here twice. The owner was actually my service...super sweet and friendly. I actually got a hug on my way out.More

This is our second visit. We came for the duck. This is a very local place. We were recently in Hong Kong and this duck was of equal quality and preparation. If you love duck, don't miss it. Service is welcoming, friendly, and unlike most...places on the North Shore, has prompt food preparation. Prices are also very reasonable.More

This little restaurant has a great selection and even better prices. We were looking for a quick meal to grab and bring back to the hotel and this fit the bill perfectly. They have indoor seating as well. Great little Chinese restaurant.

If you are craving for Cantonese food, this is the stop you should make. Fresh and delicious dishes are served freshly made. There is something on the menu and daily specials to satisfy any appetite.

Coming from Texas we are used to large quantities of food and this place fit the bill, large plates and quantity of food to enjoy, the prices to be Hawaii were very cheap and the food tasted great. The customer service was a little on...the dry side but that did not affect our family time out, place clean and fast service.More

This place had really friendly staff and the price is quite cheap and inexpensive. We ordered a couple of dishes and the fried rice. The fried rice was good, the other chicken and beef dish were a little salty. Overall I would eat there again.
