We've been to this place a few times but I'll update our review. On this visit we wanted to give this restaurant another go. We ate here twice this trip. The first was nice and romantic, dinner was good and the guitar player was ok. The 2nd evening we were with our adult children and new grandson. It was pretty... More

After flying 7 hours to get to Honolulu + an hour for bags/car/drive to Aulani, we were all beat and needed a cold drink & some food. It was after 9 PM, so we hurried across the street to Monkeypod-funny name, but 29º beer on draft and pub style food that was very good, really fit the bill for the... More

The Monkeypod has good food and a pleasant atmosphere with live music in the evening. Although it's a little pricey.

We have frequented Monkeypod kitchen since they opened at Ko Olina 3? years ago. They pride themselves on using local ingredients and I must say that the service has gotten better from when they first opened. I used to think "what a nice alternative to Roy's Ko Olina!". We used to recommend this place to friends visiting from out of... More

Good for singles wanting music, lots of people and burgers for dinner. But lunch menu is limited and pricey.

Went to dinner while staying at Aulani. It was busy, but the wait wasn't too long. They have great vegan tacos. Definitely pleased with our visit.

Went to eat here to try something different and it is within walking distance of the Aulani and the Four Seasons. I had the fish tacos, not the best I have had but very good.

We just ate there tonight. It was our 3rd visit in the last 3 years roughly. The restaurant is across the street from 3 very large resorts and inevitably people get tired of eating at the resorts and head over here. This is a cousin to the other Merriman restaurants in Hawaii. We've tried a couple of these in the... More
