Positive: The kal bee is one of the best I ever had! Negative: The bar-b-q chicken is okay, not great. I recommend the steamed mandoo over the fried. Parking is very limited. Staff member overcharged me $5 on my $30 bill (unless there was a price increase that wasn't reflected on their menu?) Like I said, if you're willing to... More

Three hungry guys(two older brothers and I)One mission- find dinner. My brother is staying in the area and picked this spot. One of his favorite Korean restaurants. We Used to frequent Kim Chee II in Kaimuki and 7 in Pearl Ridge back in my younger days. Known for huge portions and delicious katsu, kalbi and meat jun. Arrived at 1945.... More

We used to go to the old Kailua location and it was great mom and Pop's food. This place is small and parking is an isue but even though it looked so-so from outside we ventured in. Recommend take out. The food was tasty (BBQ chicken) and good. The sides are the usual Korean fare, a bit salty but good... More

Korean style food is great. No complaints on everything they serve. Good prices, even better if you come before dinner hours. Parking is not good but food is awesome.

Favorite of Windward local diners for its fabulous Kal Bi--don't miss these huge meaty beef ribs that are delicious beyond words. Menu is authentic, take-out avail. Tight parking--other parking within short walk distance. Laid-back atmosphere, casual shorts shirt-flipflops-- famous for feeding the whole family in huge roomy booths. Bring your appetite.

They give so much food & so tasty! We've been to the different Kim Chee restaurants, but this is the very first one. This place will not disappoint. The price is reasonable and it feels like eating at home. The service was good considering it had about 12 booths & only 2 servers. They are very pleasant & fast to... More

We love mandoo! This place never disappoints! Service is great! And the mandoo... It really is the best mandoo in town! The shrimp tempura is also a favorite! There's so much to choose from on the menu, you're guaranteed to find something to delight everyone in the family. If you're ever in the mood for Korean mandoo, Kim Chee (in... More

This is my go to Korean food restaurant in Hawaii. My favorite dishes there are the Meat Jun, Kal Bi and their shrimp tempura. All entrees come with miso soup, kim chee and daikon. Your meal also comes with a selection of pickled bean sprouts and vegetables. If you go for lunch they have a $9.99 special that you can... More

You won't be disappointed at Kim Chee. The kalbi is fantastic and enough for 2 people. Chicken katsu, homemade Kim Chee, lots of carbs, fat and salt. Yummy.
