We'd been to Champa Thai before and found the food very tasty. I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen since our last visit a year ago, but the unique Thai flavors have all but disappeared. The dishes were so flavorless, I can't even remember which ones we chose. The restaurant was pretty quiet, with only about half the tables... More

There is good Thai, adventurous Thai, fusion Thai, greasy Thai, etc. This place is none of these. It's not bad, just kind of in between. This is for a weeknight when you're tired and don't want to cook. Don't take your wife her for you anniversary. The service was either extremely gracous, extremely hard working or borderline rude, depending on... More

This is the place to go for Thai food on the windward side. Don't even bother with Saeng's - they suck. My ideal menu: Appetizer - vegetarian spring rolls Entrees - Pad thai with chicken, pineapple fried rice, fried chicken curry, ginger green beans with tofu, chicken satay Drinks - thai iced tea Dessert (if you have room) - banana... If you like "fine dining" American style Thai food, you will like this place. BYOB with corkage fee. I am kind of a Thai snob, so meager Pad Thai did not overcome good curry and Tom Yum. I have been here two times (second time friends insisted). First time adequate service, second time less than. If you don't care about... More

We waited for 4-5 minutes while the hostess set a table. Not for us there were plenty of tables to sit at. Food was good, curry was very good and my younger kids enjoyed the satay and soup! All in all it was a good place to eat! BYOB!

Really enjoyed eating here! Several vegetarian options on the menu. Very courteous people. We had the combination meal which was $18 for choice of appetizer, entree and rice. Very excellent flavors and presentation. Look forward to returning soon. Thank you for a great experience!

We were excited to try a Thai restaurant on the North Shore where we were spending the last three days of our vacation. But, topping Siam Palace in Honolulu was going to be tough. This restaurant failed miserably. We had the pad Thai, panang curry duck, beef satay and Thai toast. Only the satay was good; the peanut sauce was... More

My husband & I came here for a late lunch around 2 p.m when the restaurant just opened. We ordered Seafood Tom Yum & Lemongrass Dish (Fish) We liked the taste of the food, especially the Tom Yum broth. We were on the way to Lanikai Beach and this stop turned out to be a great pick because the atmosphere... More

We went here for dinner and had the Tom Tom soup, pad thai, chicken curry dish and their mango salad. Each dish was beautifully presented and very good. The green tea is great too. I recommend this place for sure.

The food was not hot or spicy and everything we ordered tasted the SAME--like the base sauce is all same same. THIRD try so three strikes and you are OUT. Will not be back. They need to vary the spices as well as get some employees who ENJOY working tables. Snooty, wrinkly nosed wait help are NOT what we were... More
