I really love indian food and ate in a lot of different restaurants but this is the worst indian food i ever ate. In fact its not really indian food its more canned food and not self made. The food has no taste, no indian spices...nothing.

Pretty good for the price. Quick takeout and friendly courteous services from the two teens behind the counter. I would recommend for quick indian craving. Not a place to seriously dine in. I enjoyed it and will be back again.

This place has several locations. The one I was at is in Kailua, Hawaii. Express means just that. Delicious food to go!!!! Love the watermelon drink made fresh there. If you like real spicy foods, try the eggplant dish. If you like mild they have it too. I go to one of the locations every time I come to visit.... More

The rice was dry. The person at the front counter had was prepping food while taking money. The Tikka Masala was horrible with small slices of chicken that looked like it was pre-cut from a freezer meal. I didn't eat any of my food and will not be going again.

After driving 'round the island this past weekend, we spotted India Café in Kailua and had a late lunch there. We have previously only tried India Café's food truck so this is the first time we ate a meal inside an India Café. Very tiny place (it is an Express after all) but we were able to get one of... We ordered the vegetarian meal which came with a choice of three entree selections. It came with saffron rice and raita. I think this was the mildest Indian food we ever ate...or should I say, bland. My husband thinks I should rate it 2 but I've given it a three because the service was so good.

The food here is delicious and cheap! My favorite was the coconut curry cabbage. Chana masala was also great!

We decided to try this little restaurant and order take-out as there were two 2 toppers in side and two outside. We tried the samosas (puffs), lamb masala and chicken curry. The samosas were veggie-filled and served with a chili sauce (sweet). The lamb masala was lamb cubes, herbs and curry. The chicken curry was chicken and spices in a... More

This is no place to dine, but to have a great authentic Indian meal. Stop by for lunch and you will love it. Limited seating, therefore you might think about take out.

My wife and I went to the Kailua Farmer's Market last night and India Café had a booth there. The curry chicken was amazing and the service was upbeat and energetic. They were more than happy to sample all of their offerings. You could really tell the two guys serving really believed in the product. India Café really helped make... More
