We ate breakfast here one day on recommendation from my surf guide - really small, popular joint, locals and tourists eating together, and the food is Awesome! Nice North Shore vibe, highly recommend.

My husband and I popped into Cafe Haleiwa for breakfast during our two-week stay on the North Shore. My omelette was delicious and my husband had the sweet bread french toast, which he really liked. It definitely felt like a place the locals go, which was cool. Really awesome artwork on the walls, too!

This place epitomises what the north shore is about. Love the seating out the back when its full just as much as sitting inside the diner when we can get a table. A little touristy perhaps at times but still an experience. Food satisfying. Service friendly and the location and decor is what makes this place. Parking out back which... More

During our last visit to the North Shore, this was our favorite place for a light, healthy breakfast. It's a little place, a bit of a shack, but the breakfasts are great. I had the breakfast sandwich egg on an english muffin with Canadian bacon, cheese, and sprouts. Really good and fresh. Service is spot-on with coffee on the ready.... More

There are very few sit-down eating places on the North Shore. Most are food trucks with maybe a table or two set up. I wanted breakfast at a real café and, hopefully, banana pancakes with coconut syrup, which has really become one of my favorite treats while visiting Hawaii. This café was small and run down. The choices were very... More

This spot was recommended by some locals. The food for sure did not disapoint, everything was tasty. My eggs were a little overcooked, but it happens. This is a small mom n pop type place so the service was lacking, or maybe im just used to faster Cali service. Either way, I was in paradise so it really didnt matter all... More

Surfer Vibe with lots of visitors. This place has not changed in 20 years. Solid basic breakfasts, clean and good service. They have not sold out yet. What you see is what you get:)

Ate lunch here on the recommendation of a local townsperson. A nice basic cafe with a small menu but the food is good and the price is right. This is a family operated business and has been at this location for sometime. Open Monday thru Sunday 7A to 2P and and then on Wed. thru Saturday are open for dinner... More

Your typical neighborhood breakfast place. I live in Jersey and goes to the best breakfast place there is (Shea's cafe). I was expecting the same thing in here since the ambiance was cozy and very homey. The food option was ok. We went here for breakfast. Blueberry pancake was dry and blueberries was not fresh. Ordered a "fresh" orange juice... More
