Great little diner with fantastic service. We ordered the dry noodles and loved them. Also got a beef stick which as great. Diner vibe, cheap eats, helpful waitress. We felt welcome and really enjoyed the experience.

Our local friend took us to this place for a hearty breakfast :D Dry noodles, loco moco, chicken katsu and fries. Great prices, great service and I still dream about those udon style pork noodles. Go if you're on Maui, you'll be happy you did.

We just can't get enough of it! We always order the Dry mein, beef BBQ sticks, fries and Cheeseburger deluxe. Yes sounds like a lot of food, which it is for two, but everything always goes so well together. If we come for breakfast I'll just order the banana pancake instead of the burger. The taste is always consistent with... More

We stopped by here after picking up our rental car from the airport. Waited for about 30 minutes and was seated at the bar. Ordered the wonton mein with veggies. The wonton wrapper was really thick and breakin apart, soup was okay and the noodles were a bit under cooked. Only plus was the portion was big. Not t sure... More

Omg their dry noodles are sooooo delicious. Their beef stick and teri beef bun also delicious. Their soup broth....yuck...taste like dirty water. No soup for me. Maybe its because I love tonkatsu ramen a lot and I have some really good tonkatsu broth but it was not good.

Whenever we feel like eating Dry Mein, Sam Sato's is the place we always go to. I like dining in to eat my noodles, for I feel it taste better when you eat it as soon as they make it fresh rather than taking it out to eat. This place is probably one of the oldest mom and pops dining... More

Do you want to know where the locals eat? Check out Sam Sato a small but cozy restaurant. It is not a fancy spot but they serve the best dry mein on the island, pastries are very good too. The servers are very attentive and the food comes out really quick. It's a perfect spot to meet with friends/families, make... More

Tried it twice now just to be sure, but I'm sure now that the dry noodles are not my type. You're supposed to dunk each fork full in the broth which comes in a separate bowl, according to the waitress. Not much flavor. The chicken and the beef on sticks were very good, $1.95 each. The dry noodles are $6-7.... More
